Unbeaten tour
The New Zealand Maoris won six matches and drew one on their tour which ended with yesterday’s game against Tonga. They scored 171 points, 92 of them from 23 tries, and had 76 scored against them. The top points-scorer was the half-back, Richard Dunn, who scored two tries and kicked eight penalty goals, four conversions and two dropped goals for a total of 46. Shane Gibbons, with four tries, was the leading try-scorer.
