Elderly man missing
The Christchurch police! hold growing fears for the safety of an elderly man who went missing on Saturday evening, Clinton Courtney Holliss, aged 84, had been in a depressed state when he left his home in Richardson Terrace, Opawa, between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m., a police spokesman said yesterday. He said that the missing man might also suffer from memory lapses.
• Mr Hollis was driving his ! car, a pink 1958 Ford Pre- > feet, registration number AL < 5463. He was wearing a dark , green polo-neck jersey, a ' mustard-coloured cardigan, . and brown trousers. He also . wears a hearing aid. Anyone who might have 1 seen Mr Holliss should get ■ in touch with the police immediately.
