Patricia Murray, reporting from Kenya “Some 3M people are refugees cisp laced or attected — >ne number of refugees o> ng estimated by the All-Africa Council of Churches at IM, and another 2M being displaced or affected inside Uganda. "Among the latter 2M, the majority are urban dwellers who are trapped in cities and in desperate need of food and medical services.” The Ali-Afnca Council of Churches will make an emergency appeal. Ms Murray will attend an All-Africa refugee conference to be opened by President Nyerere in Arusha, Tanzania. The conference is described as a Ministerial conference on the situation of refugees in Africa. She will also visit refugee camps to see the plight of Ugandans who suffered under the Amin regime.
