Rumanian visitor
PA Wellington The Rumanian Minister of Foreign Trade and International Economic Cooperation (Mr Cornel Burtica) wil visit New Zealand from May 15 to May 17. Mr Burtica, who is also a Vice-Premier, has been invited by the Government.
Welcoming the visit, the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) said New Zealand’s trade and economic relations with Rumania were developing steadily and included significant exports of breeding sheep.
Rumania has bought nearly 60,000 sheep since 1976. including more than 26,000 this year.
