‘Press' man life member
PA Wellington Cedric Mentiplay, of “The Press,” was elected a life member of the Parliamentary Press Gallery at its annual meeting on Thursday. Mr Mentiplay will retire from the gallery this year after working there for 27 years. Tony Gamier, of the “Evening Post,” was elected chairman of the gallery.
