A study of world vandalism
The "World Around Us" features tonight on SPTV written by the author, Colin Spencer. Entitled "Vandal Rule 0.K.?”, the programme provides a study of vandalism in and around the city of Cardiff, capital of Wales. Today’ vandalism is international and so is the
question concerning its cause. This feature urges people to look for tell-tale signs in those areas of society which are rarely examined and even less blamed. The levelling of blame for indiscipline and violence should be aimed at causes other than par-
ents and the media, says Colin Spencer. To further his argument. the author consults numerous experts and. through the use of archive film material, examines that part of human heritage which he believes to be directly linked with the violence and vandalism.
