FOLLOWING the 50 per cent reduction in fuel we are reducing the availability of aircraft and re-arranging bookings. From Monday, May 14, all existing bookings are cancelled and members should rebook their flying. Priority Hill be given to flying training to enable members to complete a phase of training. All club competitions and members local scenic flights ire discontinued. Crosscountry flights will be limited. It is hoped these restrictions will be temporary only. J. J. ELLESMERE COUNTY BY-LAW No. 1. 1979 LIMITING OF PARKING IN LEESTON TOWNSHIP The purpose of the by-law Is to limit the period of parking within the commercial area of High Street, Leeston during normal trading hours. A full copy of the proposed bv-law is deposited at the County Office, High Street. Leeston, and is available for Inspection by the public during normal office hours until Friday. May 18. 1979. The resolution making the •aid by-law was to have been submitted for confirmation at s special order of the Ordinary Meeting of the Council on Monday. April 23, 1979. at 30.20 a.m. However, due to procedural difficulties beyond the control of the Council, this was not done. ENVIRONMENTAL GRANTS 1979 AT THE REQUEST of the Minister for the Environment, .the Environmental Council is seeking applications from environmental groups for financial assistance. Grants will be made by the Minister for approved projects which should be completed by March 31, 1980. Projects which will qualify for financial assistance, either wholly or in part, may include research, studies, surveys, displays and the like. Grants will not be made to meet normal administration costs. Applications for grants, which should give a full description of the project, estimated total costs, timing and justification in terms of its value to the community, should be addressed to: The Environmental Council, P.O.
