Travel award
The curator of the Botanic Gardens (Mr A. G. Jolliffe) has been awarded the John R. Templin Travelling Scholarship. Mr Jolliffe. who joined the Christchurch City Council’s staff in 1971, is the first horticulturist to be granted the scholarship, which will give him 12 months overseas travel.
