Iran ‘capitalist’ shot
NZPA-Reuter Teheran Iran’s revolutionary authorities have executed seven former officials of the Shah, including a prominent businessman accused of having contacts with Israel. Their deaths brought to 28 the number of people shot by firing squad in the last two days. The official Voice of the Islamic Republic radio said among those executed was Habiballah Elghanian, a well-known “capitalist” alleged to have had relations with Israel and Zionism.
