Several to miss Oamaru
None of George Noble's team will fulfil their engagements at the Oamaru Trotting Club’s winter meeting on Saturday.
Individualist Seafield Rose, Bright and Breezy and Costa Dore were left in the fields in error by the club.
Stormy Morn and Alec Peterson, winners from Trevor Thomas’ team at Addington Raceway on Tuesday, will not start at Oamaru; nor will their stablemate, True Peterson. Thomas intends racing Classic Padero and Follow Up at the meeting. Jersey Jan will not start in the North Otago Stakes. The other members of Jack jSmolenski’s team will be driven by his son, Mark. Rapid Man will start in the North Otago Stakes in preference to the Les Webb Handicap. Nandina Maestro, another winner at Addington on Tuesday, will not contest the Waitaki Handicap. His next start will probably be at Washdyke a week later.
