Repco N.Z. buys into Auckland manufacturer
PA Wellington Repco New Zealand, Ltd, has acquired a 60 per cent interest in Automotive Parts Processing Company, Ltd, of Glenfield, Auckland, said the chairman of Repco (Mr F. L. Parkin). The company will continue to trade under its own name, he said. The management, and staff, of Automotive Parts would be retained, and two of Repco New Zealand’s executive directors, Mr L. J. Cox and Mr R. Stephens, would join the board of Automotive Parts. Automotive Parts. has established the manufacture, and recondition, of automotive braking wheel cylinders, and master cylinders in New Zealand. Repco has a long history in this field, being the leading New Zealand manufacturer of new, and replacement systems, and thus would be able to provide Automotive Parts Processing with advanced technology in the field of brake components, and assist in the expansion, and marketing of the product range, Mr Parkin said.
