World snooker
NZPA London The former world snooker champion Ray Reardon easily clinched a place in the semi-finals of the Pontins Professional Snooker Tournament at Prestatyn, Wales last evening. After beating Fred Davis 5- and making a break of 132, Reardon was much too strong for the Australian lan Anderson, as he raced to a 6- victory, in which he made breaks of 89 and 78.
