(Wakefield Avenue) Loan s 1977 was raised and reimbursing the General Bank 1 Account with amounts j previously expended for this , purpose, subject to the following determinations: (1) The term for which the ; said loan or any part thereof may be borrowed 1 shall be 30 years. (2) The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender or lenders a rate or rates exceeding 3.5 per cent per annum. (3) Notwithstanding anything in Clause (2). hereof, the j rate of interest may be increased or reduced not less than three years after such part of the i loan is borrowed and at intervals of not less than three years thereafter to a rate not exceeding the rate for the time being fixed by the Housing Corporation in New Zealand for new loans f granted for similar purposes provided that in no case shall the rate of ini' terest be increased to a rate in excess of the ’ maximum rate for the . time being determined 1 by the Minister of Finance pursuant to Section ■ 9 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956. , (4) The said loan or any ; part thereof, together . with interest thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual or halfyearly instalments extending over the term as determined in Clause (1) hereof. (5) The payment of all such instalments shall be made in New Zealand and no such instalment shall be paid out of loan money.
