Educational SCHOLARSHIPS IN CHINA APPLICATIONS are invited for five scholarships for up to two years study in China under the New Zealand/China Student Exchange Scheme. Study during the first year will be at the Peking Languages Institute, with second year study being available at Chinese universities. Fares to China will be paid by the New Zealand Government, with the Chinese Government providing accommodation and a small allowance to cover living expenses while in China. The criteria of eligibility for the awards are broad and while the awards are likely to be of most interest to graduates and undergraduates, they are not exclusively for people with an academic background. The awards are not suitable for married students.
