Colts hockey team named
The following Canterbury colts' hockey team has been named for the national colts’ tournament in Palmerston North from May 13 to 20. The team will have lead-up games against South Canterbury at Timaru on April 29 and Canterbury seniors in Christchurch on May 6. P. Bodekar, G. Barrett, S. Tilley, G. Meyer, A. Innes, G. Pierce (captain), R. Wesnev, M. McLean, M. Slack, W. Shillito, M. Johnston, I. Riach, G. Armstrong, G. Cowles. A non-travelling goal-keeper has still to be named.
