Train raid
| NZPA-Reuter Salisbury Three railway workers have been killed in a guerrilla attack on a train carrying Zambian copper through Rhodesia to South Africa, the military command has announced in Salisbury. The command also said the guerrilla war had claimed a further 43 lives in two days, including 33 black guerrillas and the small son of a white farmer shot dead in an ambush. It reported the death of another white farmer, a Coloured soldier and seven black civilians.
