Marlborough, Nelson: Northerly winds freshening about the Sounds, elsewhere mainly light; cloudy and mild with occasional showers but increasing fine intervals. Buller, Westland: Cloudy and mild with occasional showers, but increasing fair periods; light winds. Outlook: Rain on the West Coast and occasionally in Canterbury, mainly fine elsewhere.
