World XV still unbeaten
NZPA-Reutei' Port Elizabeth. The visiting World XV beat an Eastern Province rugby side, 31-9 on Monday in the third match of its tour. Without several of their most celebrated players, they struggled to an 11-9 half-time lead but then added 20 points to nil. They scored six tries—two bywing Paddy Batch, and one each by Bill Osborne, lan Buchanan, Des Jablonski, and Greg Cornelson. The fly half, Ei-rol Tobia, landed two conversions and Batch kicked a penalty. The home side’s only try, scored by Terry McGee, was converted by Gavin Cowley, who also kicked a penalty.
