Emperor reduces loss
Emperor Mines, Ltd, has again passed its interim dividend after incurring an unaudited group net loss of $115,000 in the six months to December 31, compared with a $631,000 loss in the previous corresponding period. Turnover fell 23.2 per cent to SAust4.BM and the tax provision fell $176,000 to $62,000. The pre-tax loss fell from $376,000 to $46,000.
Emperor last paid a dividend in 1975.
