L.W.R. offer rejected
The take-over offer by Lane Walker Rudkin Industries, Ltd, for Classic Fashions, Ltd, has been rejected.
The Classic board, and a number of shareholders who together hold a majority of the issued shares have stated that they will not accept the offer of 155 c cum bonus or 116.26 per cent a share ex bonus. The Classic directors will circulate a full statement of their reasons and recommend that shareholders not I accept the offer.
