PA Wellington; New Zealanders will have 15,000 tickets made available, for them at the 1980 Olym-i pics at Moscow. This al)oca-| tion compares with the 9000 | that New Zealanders received for the 1972 games at Munich. According to a Novostyl Press Agency report foreign- ' ers will receive a total of 17' million tickets—about 301 per cent of the total available.
The Novosty report said that at the request of the New Zealand Olympic Committee’s chairman, Mr Lance Cross, the number of tickets for swimming, cycling and hockey offered to New Zealand had been increased within the context of the quota agreed upon. “These sports, together with rowing and track and field events, account for 53 per cent of the total number of tickets allocated to New Zealand," the report said.
