BENNETT, William—On February 23, 1979, at Invercargill, ' beloved husband of the late Mabel Bennett (formerly of Fortrose), loved father and father-in-law of Elsie and Bill Sycamore, Pearl and Ron Stonehouse (Christchurch), Mavis and Maurice Elford, Ruby and Norrie Galbraith (Taihape), and Joan and Murray Mclntosh (Waitaki Bridge), and loved granddad of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; in his 88th year. The service will be held at our Chapel, corner of Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, on Monday, February 26, at 2 p.m., the Funeral then leaving for the Eastern Cemetery. BEVEGE, Burton Bernard (Burt), of 28 McLellan Street, Tawa—On February 23, 1979, at his residence, dearly loved husband of Alma, beloved father of Barbara and Gillian (Mrs Fuller, Katoomba, N.S.W.. Australia), loved father-in-law of Tom, and cherished grandfather of Lara and Thomas. Cut flowers preferred. The Funeral service will be held in S*t Christopher’s Anglican Church, Main Road.
