Bloodstock agency
NZPA London Dalgety. Ltd, of London, and Robert J. Goff and Company, Ltd, of Ireland, have formed a company to manage Dalgety’s bloodstock interests in Australia.
The company, known at Dalgety Goffs, Ltd, will begin business on July 1 this year in a half-share partnership. Dalgety’s bloodstock business in Australia is at present run by Coles Bloodstock Agency, which handles about 30 per cent of all bloodstock sales in Australia and conducts regular auction sales at Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth.
A director of Dalgety, Mr J. Parry, will be the first chairman of Dalgety-Goffs, Ltd.
