Farrow, Previn divorce
NZPA-Reuter London The actress, Mia Farrow, has applied for a “quickie” divorce in the Dominican Republic from the conductor, Andre Previn, her second husband, the London “Daily Mirror” reports. The paper says that the 32-year-old actress left Britain in June for the Pacific, where she was making a movie, and has not returned. The couple lived in a converted farmhouse near London for nine years. The “Daily Mirror” says she took the couple’s three children — eight-year-old twins, Sacha and Matthew, and Fletcher, aged four — and three adopted Vietnamese children, with her. Previn’s whereabouts were not immediately known. Under Dominican law, marriages can be dissolved within a week even if only one of the parties is present.
The couple married in London in September. 1970.

Previn, aged 48. a four'time Oscar winner for his movie music. is music director of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. He announced last y»ar (that he would relinquish his Inine-year po«t as principal conductor of the London ! Symphony Orchestra next ‘August.
