Miss Spencer, a frecklefaced, red-haired girl who the police say had a history of drug abuse and petty theft, was arrested on Monday after a 61-hour siege at her home across the street from the school. The police say she fired at least 40 bullets at the school from a .22 calibre rifle she received for I Christmas.
