Junior croquet
The croquet-playing husband and wife combination of Mr and Mrs P. Morrissey enjoyed considerable success yesterday during play in the Canterbury Junior championships at the St Martins green. The Morrisseys won the B grade doubles championships after a very tight struggle and then continued their winning form in the B grade singles where both scored wins.

Hoyne (Blenheim) 16; Second life: Mrs Beaurepaire 26, Mrs J. Wilson 5. B grade singles.—Mrs S. Jesset 26, Mrs R. Stokes 12: Mrs Morrissey 22, Mrs J. May 19; Mr Morrissey 26, Mrs A. Halliday 18.
