1977 not “last year”
Sir, —As a faithful follower of “The Press” crossword I must say that I am terribly disappointed in this morning’s crossword. One of the clues is now incorrect because of its late publication. I am referring to clue 10 Across: “Try a seal for 77,” the answer being “last year,” ’77 is no longer “last year.” I would venture to suggest that you check the crossword before publication, or there will be more cross words from me.—Yours, etc., L.
