Rapid service at drive-in and out builders supplies store
Reese Bros, Ltd, has opened its new drive-in builders’ supplies service store at the corner of 164 Moorhouse Avenue and Antigua Street. The premises are designed for vehicles of any size to drive in, for the driver to place his order at the reception office and drive out again within minutes with the goods. The firm now handles a wide range of products which cover virtually every need of the building industry. The long list of products available includes:
Cement, sand, premix, plastering materials, cement paints, builders’ and hydrated lime, Sika concrete additives, waterproofers and waterbars, reinforcing steel, H.R.C. mesh, building paper, Malthoid roofing, wire netting, polythene sheet, Halcoat waterproofing emulsions, James Hardies building products. board, Asbestolux, Formica wallboards and mouldings, P.V.C. rainwater systems, P.V.C. underground drainage systems, fibre glass insulation, Durafoil, ivory board. Customwood plywood and coreboard, laminated and stainless steel sink benches and tubs, vanity units and tops, corrugated iron, standard and long run pressed metal tiles. Reese Brothers were one of the main promoting share-holders in Canterbury Timber Products, Ltd, which makes Customwood, a new wood panel product with a substantial New Zealand and export market. This latest move by Reese Brothers’ builders supplies department and the provision of undercover drive-in facilities is another step in giving service to the building industry and to the public.
