It might be a sad Christmas for this playful grey-hound-cross puppy, which is only three months old.
She followed Lorraine Beil, a secretary at Merritt Properties, back to the office last Tuesday.
In spite of a radio appeal the sandy-coloured pup has not been claimed. If noone turns up by this afternoon she will be sent to the dog pound for seven days, and will then be destroyed. The pup shows signs of having worn a collar, but its removal might mean that she has been abandoned. However, Christmas week has not been too bad for the pup. She has become an identity at Lorraine Bell’s office, and has been boarded out with staff members at night.
If someone wants the pup to have a merry Christmas she can be found at the Merritt Properties office all day today. Its telephone number is 67-879.
