Dog registrations
Sir, —So now it costs $20.50 to register a bitch and $lB for a male dog. Who is going to pay this? — only the responsible owner and not the irresponsible owner who does not register a dog. What about those people who own or breed show dogs and are registered with the New Zealand Kennel Club? Why must they suffer with the ignorant, indiscriminate breeders who will not register their dogs? It is time that members of the club were given consideration, when most of them have, at the least, two breeding bitches and one dog in these kennels. This brings their annual fee to at least $6O. Is this the privilege of being honest and responsible? —Yours, etc.,
