Expulsion, jail
NZPA-Reuter New Delhi Mrs Indira Gandhi, the former Indian Prime Minister has been expelled from Parliament and ordered to be Jailed, accordinug to a report received early this morning (New Zealand time). She had been found guilty of a grave breach of Parliamentary’ privilege and contempt of the Lower House. The Lower House of Parliament voted 279-138 on the motion tabled by the Prime Minister (Mr Morarji Desai).
