Secretary resigns
A new secretary Is being sought by the Canterbury Rugbv Union. The present officer, Mr J. F. Teear, has resigned for personal and business reasons and will vacate the position tomorrow. Applications for a new’ secretary have been called and the union says that the terms? of appointment are freelv negotiable. If an appointment is not made swiftly, the union might have to find a “caretaker” secret at y* to help prepare for the centennial next year. Mr Teear, a chartered accountant, was secretary of the union lor two years.
