The position involves the running of the Audiology Clinic and the supervision of unqualified staff. The work of the Clinic includes hearing measurement in patients of all ages, differential diagnosis of auditory disorders in patients referred by the E.N.T. Surgeon, and the rehabilitation of hear-ing-impaired persons including the fitting of hearing aids. Applicants must have undertaken a recognised training programme in Audiology and be holders of a Bachelors (Honours) degree in experimental psychology and Diploma in Audiology or its equivalent. Commencing salary according to qualifications and experience within the range $10,513 to $13,021 p.a. plus $365 p.a. General Wage Order Allowance.
