Two officers of the Ministry of Transport Marine Division in jChiutchurch, have been appointed administration officers m the South island for the new Harbouis and foreshores section ot the Ministry. They are tile regional marine officer Air J. D. Wiskeri and marine advisory officer i Mr f . Lyons). The} will emorce a grant ot control under the Harbours Act — a delegation of management responsibilities.
