Frist shows fitness
Special correspondent Hastings Frist, an in form runner at Saturday's Manawatu meet ing, showed her fitness yesterday with a good gallop over a 1000 m on the firm Hastings course proper Frist is to make her class I debut in the Kelvin Handicap. final event at Saturday's Manawatu meeting. Frist was partnered by the very good mare Out Of The Blue. They were sent off from the 1000 m and both galloped strongly over the first 400 m in 22.95. They slowed slightly over the final 600 m in 39.25, but the time for the complete distance was a good Imin 2 Is
