Judge fined
Mr Lindsay McDougall if Pleasant Point, the judge at meetings of the ' Timaru Trotting Club was fined §4O for failing to place the horses correctly in the, Marchwiel Handicap at! Washdyke on Tuesday. Mr McDougall placed Free Martial fourth whereas that horse actually finished near the tail of the field. The , club will have tc pay the 575 fourth prize to Free! Martial and a similar sum to I Mr K. A. Brophy, the owner! of Deo Voente the horse! which was actually fourth! (passed the post.
