General Election
Sir, — After reading an article ("The Press,” December 4) I see Mr Muldoon is trying to blame television for the National Party’s loss of votes. I for one do not own a television set nor did I see one party political screening. This is the first election in four in which I have not voted for National, and television had no influence over my swing. When is this man and his party going to realise who the problem is. I hope he thinks again and accepts the words of wisdom offered him by Jack Marshall on election night, for the benefit of us all. — Yours, etc., ALASTAIR MILLAR. December 5, 1978.
