Surf casting contest on Coast
Surfcasters will be able to compete in a West Coast circuit front next month. The circuit has been arranged by the organisers of the Paroa School, Hokitika Angling Club, Cobden Hotel, and Granity Fishing Club surfcasting competitions. The circuit will begin at Paroa on January 14, followed by competitions at Hokitika on February 10 and Cobden on February 18. The circuit will end with a contest at Granity on March 3. A trophy for the biggest fish caught has been offered by the owner of the Cobden Hotel, Mr J. Robbo.
