Lamb-skin prices fall
No changes have been made in prices to be paid to farmers next week for lamb, mutton or beef, where stock are killed for export. But prices for lamb skins have been reduced because of a weakening trend in values for woo! and pelts. Where a skin carries o.skg of wool the price has been reduced by 23c to 231 c; where the wool pull is Ikg the skin will be worth 315 c, a fall of 20c; and a skin with 1.5 kg of wool will be worth 399 c, down 18c.
