Due to a pending retirement we are seeking a suitably qualified person who. within a period of 12-18 months of appointment, could fill the position of Division Manager of the Process Industries Division For over 90 years Nivens have been a leading supplier of process plant and equipment for the meat processing, food processing and chemical industries and this Division is responsible for the design, manufacture and sale of plant and systems to serve these vital industries. The Division organisation includes sales offices in the three main centres and production of plant and machines is carried out at a large works in Napier. In addition to a well established client base in New Zealand significent export markets are being developed with good potential. The Division functions as a separate autonomous unit within the Group and the Manager is directly responsible for the profitability of a unit employing assets exceeding $1 000.000 and for the management of all functions within the Division. As a senior executive he is a member of the Executive Committee which develops Group policy ano corporate planning The successlul appointee will have had managerial experience pie ferably in the meat or food processing industry, although a background in process or production engineering would be considered.
