Sir, —In a wealthy area of Christchurch Canon Bob Lowe is underpaid for his zealous espousal of Christian advancement? (“The Press,” November 30). Surely it is time for his transfer to a more poverty-stricken diocese where his humour would be appreciated, his poverty illusionary, and a general strike of freezing workers unnecessary despite Blue Kennedy’s pious concern over the lack of brass in ecclesiastical circles —Yours, etc., ROSIE WITTY.
