Milk bottle price up
PA Wellington Milk bottles will cost more from today because of increases in prices charged by glass manufacturers, the general manager of the Milk Board (Mr R. D. Williams) announced yesterday. Throughout New Zealand 600 ml bottles will cost 18c. This means that the price of a bottle of milk bought from a dairy where no bottle is exchanged will be 28c in areas where the standard milk price of 10c applies. There are no increases in prices for 150 ml and 300 ml bottles.
