New Zeland ranks among eight strong hockey nations which the International Hockey Federation thinks are too good to play in an Olympic rehearsal tournament in Moscow next year, reports NZPA-Reuter. The federation's secret a r y-general (Etienne Glichitch) says the federation has told the Soviet Union not to invite the
eight top nations to the tournament planned for next year so as not to give strong teams which are likely to qualify for the 1980 tournament the unfair advantage of playing on Olympic grounds in advance. He named the ineligible teams as West Germany, Australia. Spain, Britain. India. Pakistan, New Zealand and the Netherlands.
