Radio Avon reaches new mark
Share prices were mixed in moderately active trading on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday. Radio Avon reached the 300 c mark on a 10c rise, and Hauraki Enterprises improved 5c to 115 c after going ex bonus and splitting its shares. A number of shares firmed on recent good reports including Freightways and National Insurance. However, Dominion Breweries was 1c down despite announcing it was 19 per cent ahead in its latest half-year.

A total of 360,000 shares was traded on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday, 28,000 more than on Wednesday.
