Mayor’s Message
From the Mayor of Kaiapoi, Mr Ben Williams. At this carnival time, I would like to congratulate the Businessmen’s Association and the Jaycees for their months of planning for this community day. I hope their efforts will be rewarded with large crowds and sunny weather. This year has had its difficulties for Kaiapoi, but I am sure we can look forward with optimism into 1979. On behalf of my wife and myself, I wish all residents, adults and children, an enjoyable carnival day, a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. MR WILLIAMS
