Directories
The first copy of Christchurch’s new telephone directory has arrived in the city. But the Chief Postmaster (Mr E. A. G. Grandi) said that because Christmas was a busy period for the Post Office it would be early 1979 before the new directories could be distributed. The directories would probably stay in Wellington until a final decision on their date of distribution was made.
