j Stephen Harley and Jim j Martin, and Diane McKinnel ! and Shirley Haig won the I men’s and women’s sections lof an invitation doubles I tournament for senior tennis ; players held by the Elmwood ! I club. ; In the finals on Wednesday j evening McKinnel and Haig, I .an experienced pair, beat a! I much younger pair, Nickii I Robinson and Anne David-; I son, 9-7. Harley and Martin had a; i tight, struggle against Martin; I Searle and Alan Corad but; I thev won 9-7. I There were 20 entries for; ! the tournament held over two | I Wednesday nights and under' i lights. It was such a success I I the club is likely to run it I i again next year.
