PA Wellington A claim against the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) by an assistant officer solicitor at the Treasury, Warren Victor Benefield, for S6M, claiming he was offered the position of New Zealand Government Security Commissioner, was struck out by Mr Justice Quilliani in the Supreme Court yesterday. His
Honour held the claim to be irrational. Mr Benefield is also claiming SI.2M damages against the Attorney General, Peter lan Wilkinson, for alleged false imprisonment and SIM against the Minister for State Services, John Bowie Gordon, for alleged wrongful suspension.
