strumental in getting a vital break for Britain right on half-time when he kicked ahead for the wing Stuart Wright, to score. Millward did not return for the second half but smin later Britain edged ahead with a Fairbairn penalty. John Joyner, playing his first test for Britain, set up the second try when he beat Steve Rogers to send Wright over again. The try was converted to put Britain ahead, 18-4.
