RADIO AVON FIRMS
The New Zealand sharemarket began the week on a firm note in quiet trading yesterday. Woolworths N.Z. rose 30c to 110 c in the wake of the announced take-over offer by L. D. Nathan. Radio Avon gained 20c to 260 c on plans of a bonus and capital repayment plans. Transvision eased 3c despite announcing an increased profit of 22 per cent in its latest halfyear.
